I’m here at the Million Coach Intensive here at Santa Monica. We’ve been talking about how to scale your coaching business from zero to a million dollars a year.
Turns out, there are 5 little secrets, and I learned this part from a great friend Clay Collins of Leadpages, so Clay thanks so much.
Here’s the 5 things you want to do:
There are 5 parts of your coaching business and for each of them, I want you to get it down to one for each, not like 6 things. Keep business really really simple.
One Target Market
So the first thing one target market. In other words, pick one target market. One specific target market that you know, understand and you love. We talked about if you like them, can they pay, can you get them the result.
Not like 57 products and a trip wire or a crazy essential model.1 product that you can look the prospect in the eye and say “this thing will get you the results you’re after”
One Conversion Tool
1 tool that turn your prospect into a client. You think strategy sessions, webinars, live events.
One Traffic Source
Fourth, one traffic source that you can scale. A way that you can get all the leads you need.
Finally, 5th, those 4 ones, the secret to it all is to trim it down so you get 1 for each of them.
Finally, work it for 1 year. To sharpen it, polish it and get the results you’re after.
Alright! So that’s this week’s coach marketing tip. The way you to get a million dollars a year is to prune, not add too much on. We’d had a chat before that since when does the answer to too much more? We want to cut off options. Make business simple again.
